Just the FAQs
Do I pay to play?
Naw, just order a burger and brew or a cocktail or two. It’s a known fact that the more you drink, the better you think.
Do I need to sign up beforehand or can I just show up and play?
You can register when you get there but we love, love, love it when you RSVP ahead of time (so we know how many tiaras to bring!). Sign up the whole squad, just you and your homeslice, or go solo. Try it now.
But why?
If you’ve gotten this far, you know why. Because prizes. And people to meet. Plus, you’ll learn a thing or two, even if you’re a super brainiac. Where else can you show everyone who’s the smartest person in the room and they openly hate you cheer you on?
How hard are the quizzes?
The questions get harder as we get rollin’. That’s why it’s fun to diversify your team. Get a Gen Xer, a Boomer or two, a few know-it-all Millennials, and make sure they’re repping different walks and talks. Not everyone knows the difference between Nas and Lil Nas X but as a team, you could crush it.
Howzit work?
Teams are 2-6 players.
A quiz is 8 rounds of 8 questions each.
Questions are either announced by the quizmaster or they’re displayed on the big screen (or both). Players can write down answers that are turned in at the end of each round or teams can answer on their smartphones.
64 questions are organized into categories.
Three rounds are topics like “Toys from the 80s” or “Books They Made You Read in School”
One round is a speed round (here’s where the yelling gets louder)
One round is all about music (name and artist)
One round uses visuals (we provide)
One round has questions about movies and TV shows (a favorite)
Final round is unpredictable and points are doubled
Add up the points and the team with the most wins. Easy-peasy.
